Term Three Begins and we celebrate 100 Days of School!!!

"Hooray!!  Hooray!!  It's back to school," we say!!  

After a lovely fortnight of holidays, its good to be back and to be catching up with all our friends in Room 5 again.  

Today is a special day - it's our 100th day of school!  How quickly those 100 days have gone by!  It has been a happy and busy 100 days, filled with great learning experiences so far. We enjoyed chatting about some of the highlights we've already had.  After PMP we made some treats to celebrate.  Look at our biscuits - one of them we iced and decorated with lollies.  

Puppet Pals

Just for a little while we played with our puppets and then we have hung them up so that we can use them to do some shows once our puppet theatre is ready.

Junior Assembly

Our Junior Assemblies are always interesting and its great having so many of our parents coming to enjoy them along with us.  Today our class showed off the hand puppets we created.  We had lots of fun making them - they are special and unique because they have characters on both sides!  We designed an animal to go on one side and a person on the other.  We painted the base colour and then cut and glued material to add finishing touches.  Here we are on the stage showing off our delightful puppets...

Wacky Hair and Hat Day

The last day of Term Two has arrived and to celebrate, we are all donning our wackiest hat or doing our hair in weird and wonderful styles.  Not to mention the crazy colours that we're applying to these amazing hairstyles!  We all look pretty good, don't we?
