Book Week

The wonderful April holidays are over now and its good to be back at school with all our special friends. Everyone had such a happy time.  Some children went overseas - Caleb and Ana had a good time visiting Australia and Lara loved exploring London in the UK.

What a wonderful way to start the term ... it's BOOK WEEK!!! We are lucky to have so many exciting activities crammed into our first five days back.  Stu Duval, an author, storyteller and cartoonist held the stage on Monday and Tuesday.  He is amazing and captivated us with his marvelous stories and his artistic talents.

Every child is an artist - this saying is so true and on Tuesday we witnessed the most amazing drawings just rolling out on paper as the children learnt to draw cartoon characters with Stu Duval.  Using basic shapes, letters and squiggles, the drawings came alive and the children were thrilled with their achievements.
