Painted Paper
Today we started work on our next art project which is to create interesting sheets of painted paper. We went outdoors to do some wax crayon rubbings on various surfaces. The concrete, bricks, painted walls, tar, metal seating, rubber matting and bark from a tree all provided wonderful patterns and textures. Here we are in action -

Wow room 5. I love that you are making your own textured papers - perhaps you might use your special paper to make a collage inspired by Eric Carle books? I look forward to seeing what you will make with the paper.
