"Hospital Food"

As part of our learning about sick patients and people who work in hospital, we decided to make some jelly since that is often given to people who are unwell.  We made four flavours of jelly in the staffroom which we later ate with ice-cream once the jelly had set.  Having been a hot day, this was just a perfect way to enjoy a cool treat!

We all wore mufti today to raise money for the thousands of people affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Phillipines.  We were mindful that so many people have been stripped of everything - their homes and towns, all the basic necessities of life and many have lost their loved ones.  Our hearts go out to them and we hope the monies we raised help them and bring them comfort.
