Travel Bugs Talks

Nikitha, Maya and Hayden enthralled us with their tales of interesting travels.  Nikitha was very fortunate to have travelled to India where she attended her aunty's wedding.  She enjoyed shopping for lovely clothes for the wedding and having mehindi patterns on her hands.  They also visited some temples where they saw some monkeys.

Maya's trip to Sydney, Australia, was very exciting.  The weather was perfect and she visited the Tauranga Zoo with her mum and her aunty where she held a butterfly and saw many animals.  She took a ferry ride and saw many more sights around the city.

Hayden and his cousins were lucky to have had a fabulous road trip up to the northern most part of New Zealand.  On the way there they visited the Kauri Kingdom and a sheep farm.  They also visited Kawakawa where they saw a steam train called Gilbert.   They finally arrived at Cape Reinga right at the end of the North Island where they viewed the lighthouse.
